01

The problem

A small hotel group wanted to replace its five agency-built websites, one for the group and one for each property, with sites its own staff can keep up to date: rooms and prices, offers, photos, reviews, and the enquiries guests send.

02

What I built

One application that serves all five websites and the admin behind them, in Hungarian and English. Staff edit pages, rooms, prices, offers, photos, reviews, questions and search settings for every site from one place, and guest enquiries land in an inbox with their status. Photos are resized for every screen automatically, the menus never link to a page that is not published, and analytics load only after a guest agrees.

03

What changed

The old sites were archived first: 639 pages and 1,161 files. From the first commit to five working sites and their admin took eleven days. The last test run passed all 942 tests, including one that reads every page looking for the old brand name.

Client work. The names are changed, everything else is as built.
